This policy applies to the Cleaner iOS app (the "App").
Cleaner helps you free storage by finding duplicates, large files, screenshots, and similar photos and videos. Core scanning and cleanup run on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, or library contents to our servers for these features.
With your permission, the App may access your photo library and related metadata (for example, asset identifiers, dimensions, and creation dates) to analyze content, show previews, and perform cleanup actions you initiate. This processing happens on the device unless you separately use a feature that explicitly transmits data (none are required for core cleanup).
We may process limited technical information needed to operate and improve the App, such as device model, OS version, app version, and anonymized or aggregated diagnostics. We do not use this to identify you personally beyond what the platform provides for app distribution and support.
If you purchase a subscription or in-app purchase, Apple processes payment and provides us with transaction status (for example, whether your subscription is active). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We use the information described above to:
Your media and scan results used for core functionality remain on your device. We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to a consumer utility app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure; use the App in line with your own risk tolerance and backups.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating the App (for example, hosting for this website), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it where required.
If you use the App outside your home region, your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate, subject to applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
